John Michael Montgomery Miscellaneous It Rocked Well, I was just a kid, maybe two or three Had a bad nightmare, scared the life out of me. Mama came in to calm my fears. When nothing she could do would stop those fears, she carried me down the stairs to that living room and sat down in that chair... And it rocked. It made me feel better. Don't know why, but it really doesnt matter. It rocked. And that's all I know. Something bout the rhythm of it soothed my soul. And thats a feeling that I never forgot... It rocked I was seventeen and I fell for this girl. Far as I could tell she was my only world. I was confused about life, in the dark about love. I heard a lot of stories but I didn't know much.
